Received work permit without travel permit, anybody?
I am asking for a friend who only got work permit but not travel permit...and 8 months have passed by since she submitted her combo card application:
"I applied to USCIS for a travel card and for a green card and they were received 6/29/2018. After the USCIS website showed the processing date after my date I talked to USCIS and was given a service request number because my date was beyond the normal processing time. I am waiting for the 30 days that I was told I needed to wait for a response to the service request.
Meanwhile I have requested help from both US Senators from my state.
If you have any suggestions as to other actions that I should take to pressure USCIS to finally review my travel application please share what you did and how you did that.
Also if you have any experience in requesting a priority review because of family emergency please let me know."
