Interview notice txt and email: December 20, 2018. I didnt received the letter on this date, after 5 days i waited and decided to call the uscis hotline but the officer 1 didnt helped at all. He told me that the letter wasnt sent yet. I asked for an officer 2 and waited for them to call be back as there is a long wait but didnt received a call. I became worried thinking that maybe they sent it to my previous address. Which I already sent them 5 months ago and confirmed that they changed it. I decided to ask for the help of my congressman which is very helpful. The secretary emailed me and within that day she was able to send me a copy of the interview letter which was sent on the old address. They told me i will be receiving the original letter within 3 days.
Notice received: January 10, 2019. My scheduled date is on January 28, 2019 7:15am los angeles field office.

Interview date: January 28, 2019. We arrived at 6:45 the line was already long and was told to check in by the officer at 7:00am. We took the elevator and went to 6th flr and handed the letter to the officer. We sat and waited for our names to be called. My husband was holding my hand cause Iam very nervous and was laughing about my sweaty hands lol. The officer called us at 8:00am. During the interview, we took our oath and he took my pictures and biometrics. Then he started to asked the evidences of our bonafide marriage. I took out the 3 binders we prepared which really helped and the officer is kinda glad that we made copies since we are also helping him. We showed him the lease aggreement, rental receipts, car insurance, medical and dental insurance, phone bills, joint tax 2017. He asked for pictures but when he saw that i bought a scrapbook and my husband was tearing the pictures out of the paper he told us thats okay LOL. He then asked us about how we met, name of parents, date of birth. I got scared when he started to asked about our previous marriage as I got married 3 months after being divorced. He told me that this is a red flag. My husband noticed my nervousness so he went ahead and told the officer about our relationship, he said that it was mutual and the marriage is not really working out well. The officer seems convinced but he told us that that would be a problem. And if we are lying somebody might be going on our house to check. I told him that we really love each other and i just fell in love with the wrong guy Lol. He started typing and handed us the paper with needs to review. We thanked the officer and shook his hand. He showed us where to exit. He told us to wait for 40-60 days because he will review the case again. we left the building after 30 mintues of interview wew. Then I started to pray and hope that everything will be fine. I really got upset and kinda went depressed afterwards since he told me that i still have to wait and of course got scared at the same time.

After 2 days I received a txt and email confirmation that my card is in production..
praise God!! With my experience all I can say is learn to trust God, pray and be prepared. Collect all the evidences and make a copy of eveything so in that way u can help the officer as well. I’ve also learned this through reading experiences on this forum.

Thank you for reading and I will pray for each and everyone’s success on their application
