Hello, guys! My interview is scheduled for the 8th of March, and I am so excited about it! However, me and my husband are a little nervous because of a couple of things. First, the lawyer said that the case was gonna take about a year, but we sent the paperwork in August; in January I have already got my work/travel permit, and they sent the invitation the last week. Is it that bad sign?
Also we are nervous because we didn’t celebrate the wedding our did any trips. I usually let my husband to go on vacation with his brother once a year and they go to Europe (my husband was born in Moldova, got his citizenship in 216; his family still lives there and we are not planning to move them in the US, so he visits them once a year and then take his brother to somewhere else), and I go twice for a weekend with my friends. I also don’t have 1000 of pictures with him. We love to soend time at home, both busy, I just look over people’s experiences and I am scared because compare to others it seems like we have a lack of evidence. We’ve been married for almost 3 years now, so I applied for the 10 years green card. Any tips? The paperwork seem good: I have a few affidavits, he added me on his bank account long time ago so we have the statements, tax returns for 2 years and filing this year now, in august moved to the new place, so I have 2 lease agreements; I also put the certificate of jewelry he bought for me and a few post cards... but no insurance together because he was stubborn and didn’t wanna apply for insurance through my work. Do you think it will be okay? We know each other very well and live in peace and harmony, but I am afraid that it won’t be enough for IO.
Please, give us an advice or tips how to succeed!
Much love!
