H1B extension 3rd visa interview with same employer, 2nd visit to ottawa.

Date : Feb 5 8:30 am

The email from the embassy mentions not to carry mobile, if your aware of the surroundings better not have it on you but if your looking for navigation the security will ask to turn off the mobile before entering the consulate (ottawa).

Visa Check-in (Passport, I797, DS160 Confirmation, Photo)

3. Are you working for xyz Company while going through my I797 : Yes
4. Had an issue with my photo, please carry at-least 20 CAD a candidate was generous and helped me out with cash on the spot. It costs you 10 CAD unfortunately there is no USD exchange or credit cards to work with the photo booth.

If your out of options the visa officer will hand over you a pamphlet to submit your photograph after the interview is completed, you must return within 2:30 pm the same day.

9. Had a H1B visa revocation in 2011 why haven't you mentioned about in the DS160 ? : I have explained my situation with previous employer and it was not a rejection I had my petition withdrawn as I wasn't working and living in USA during the period. VO asked me to update the DS160 with the revocation details the next time I'm applying for a visa.

The interviewer was convinced - Visa approved !!!

Please don't try to workaround the DS160, make sure your consistent every time your approaching for a stamping. I believe my day is good, was held on 221g for 2 weeks in ottawa last time to go throw my paper work on admin process.
