Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hi everyone today was such a relieve I have been a silent reader for months and today I can finally share my experience.

Lease of Good Faith - We live with his mom in her home so she did a letter stating we reside there, our contribution to the mortgage and bills and had it notarized
Health Insurance (Dental, Medical, Burial, etc)
Airline Tickets from last vacation
Job notification for immediate contact
Letters from family and friends (four)
Pictures - only printed 30 with family and friends

Interview 7:15am
Arrived at 6:45, left our phones in the car went through security and went to the check in desk and checked in. They didnt call in any order so couples that came after us went before us, listen carefully for your name cause they call very soft. IO was a Spanish lady she wasnt to friendly. She carried us to her office and sworn us in immediately. She asked for our id's and specifically looked through my passport because I travel a lot. took my picture and finger prints then went in on my husband. When did you meet your wife? What year? What is her Birthdate, When did you get married? Why did you marry your wife, what was it about her? What does your wife do for a living? How long has she been working there for which he could'nt remember so he asked me and we spoke then he gave her an answer. She then asked yes and no questions to me only time she spoke. She then asked my husband if we have any kids and for this he said yes he does. She asked how old for which he replied 1yr 8 months she then kept asking questions as during our relationship we took a break and he got someone else pregnant. It wasnt easy to overcome but we did. She asked why didnt he stay with the other girl and instead married me for which he answered you can help who you love and she forgave me and now we are better and stronger. We then gave her all our joint documents listed above she didnt want half of them she only really needed his W2 2017 then she gave me a paper of case under review. I asked about travel and she said once your AP is not expired you can travel on the AP while waiting for GC approval I do not need a stamp. We left I went online at around 5pm and saw Case Under Review however the status updates states that We have ordered your New Card.

I will state that everyone story is different and mines is a unique one. The key is to be real and answer exactly how your life is. Dont make it seem to perfect cause life is not perfect.
