Hi NYC People who has been waiting forever!
This page helped me so much, thanks to all of you! I has just got off the phone with a USCIS second officer, and frankly I think this forum knowes more, than the people who are sitting at uscis customer service. Talking them today, just made me confused.
Here is my timeline first:
July 26th, 2017 - PD
August 25th, - Bio
November 14th - Recieved EAD+AP
September, 4th 2018 - Applied for EAD renewal (still no info about that)
February 4th 2019 - E-mail notice from USCIS that my interview has been scheduled (!!!)
Now I am waiting for the mailed interview notice, wondering how long should that take. I heard that sometimes usps looses the letters... The officer couldn’t tell me today what is my exact date.
My main conern is the Medical exam. I took mine back in June 2017. When I took it was gonna be valid for a year, now I hear it’s valid for 2 years, but it also depends on when the medical was taken. Today the second officer said, that it’s valid for 15 months. I’m confused now and don’t know if I should renew it or not before the interview. If you know anything about the new medical rule, please let me know!
