Pending i-485 now on removal proceedings
I have a very sensitive situation which I’ll appreciate someone to advice me right. Cos i’m Very confused 😐 and someway sad 😔 I got married sometimes in April 2017, I filed in August 2017 for I785, I465, I130 and I131 via an inexperienced lawyer that didn’t guild me right. He didn’t attach a lot of supporting documents. Because I had to sent a lot of documents afterwards. I went for my biometric on the 11th of sept 2017, while waiting for my i785 to be approved. I was arrested by some ICE agent at my home parking lot sometimes in February 2018. They said I overstayed my visa before I filed. My wife came to get me 6-7hours After the arrest. Two days after I had to get an experienced lawyer which cost me more than 5k$. My I-765 was approved 3rd wk of April. That was 8month after filling. Fast forward to 2019. I was scheduled for an interview for today which is 11th of February. A wk after I was scheduled I got another notice saying my 465 has been closed by the USCIS. That my case has been transferred to EOIR and the immigration court which the judge can approve or deny. My lawyer said if they approve my i30 he will contact the EOIR to cancel the proceeding. Yesterday I got another notice saying the interview for today has been canceled. Which we’ve prepared for everything. My wife was crying when she saw the mail. It’s crazy people doing fraud marriage can outsmart the government; And we doing the right thing could go through all this thing. I’ve spent a lot of money on this case. Now I’m stocked in this country, I lost my dad a month ago, I can’t even go back home because my i131(travel parole) wasn’t approve, No criminal record, I’ve never been pull over by a cop. I do everything right. Just because of this situation. My marriage is in good faith, my self and my wife have a lot of business, properties together. The marriage is more important to me than the green card. I’m not really concerned about the green card for now, but I’ll like to go home to see my family. I’m getting tired of the whole situation and feels like relocating back to my country. I need someone to give some advice. I’m sorry for the long **** comprehension. Thanks n God bless
