Hi all,
wanted to share my experience applying for a Green Card and Work Permit through marriage in California (San Bernardino office)
08/06/2018 - PD
2x/06/2018 - Biometrics appointment
09/07/2018 - Ready to be scheduled for interview
12/28/2018 - Interview was scheduled for February 5th
01/08/2019 - Called USCIS and talked with an agent about my EAD being out of normal processing time.
01/10/2019 - EAD being produced
01/18/2019 - Received EAD & SSN
02/05/2019 - Interview (approved)
02/08/2019 - Card mailed
02/11/2019 - Received Green Card
It's been a very stressful period, and I'm glad it's over (for now).
Reading other people's experience really helped me on some of those desperation moments, so here's my grain of sand.
