Adjustment of Status - I-485

I was starting my day normally, i recently started working part time because i am preparing some exams, today i have received a call from the manger saying that if i don’t bring a new EAD and a new sS card by next business day, I am fired, i asked her to talk to the boss; she said she’S calling me as requested by him! but yesterday i was Skyping with him for extra job he wanted me to do, he was super happy of the outcome ! They have the receipt for my EAD renewal, she said it’s not enough. They need a valid SS card too which i don’t have ! I am confused and crying ! My PD is Oct 2017 status was charged to interview ready to be scheduled since Dec 2017 then Mar 2018 then nothing !!! I am really depressed now !! I applied for EAD renewal in Oct 2018
