Hey everyone, I’ve been a silent reader for quite some time but I’m finally posting because I guess I need some words of encouragement & understanding from people who are going through the same thing I am :( I was recently offered the job of my dreams, I graduated college in May and this would be my first legit job in my industry of study! However, it is now in jeopardy because USCIS doesn’t seem to care at all about us. Here is my timeline for my I-765:
Received date: 9/12/18
Notice that my previous biometrics would be used: 10/10/18
Website says my fingerprint review has been completed as of 10/18/18
Sent in request to expedite: 1/31/18
Got email requesting supporting docs: 2/4/18
Faces supporting docs that same day: 2/4/18
Have heard nothing since. I’ve called multiple times and I’m on the phone for over an hour just to be told information I already know. I feel so defeated, it makes me so sad that so many of us are going through this. Especially because WE WANT to work! What is so wrong with that? Isn’t that what they want from immigrants?
Anyway, wishing you all the best of luck and appreciate any positive energy my way as well.
