H1B stamping:Toronto: Received 221G green slip
Hello,
I have attended interview Feb 13, Toronto. Mine is H4 to H1.
Previously, I was on F1, H1B and approved I 140, successful H1B stampings in India(Delhi,Hyderabad, Chennai). Was on H1B for 12 years.
Then changed to H4 for a year and again applied for H1B through consular processing Toronto, and approved. Attended interview today and was issued 221G green slip and no documents were asked from me but kept my resume.
Questions were pretty standard and nothing complicated or any explanations asked.
Previous H1B employer?
Job title with new petitioner?
What College and Master's?
What's the thesis?
Spouse employer?
Company is one among Big 4. Spouse on H1B with a major bank , children US citizens. We recently received Canada permanent residency.
Lot's of typing by VO, and about to pick Yellow slip and then changed it to Green 221g(Not sure if that makes any difference)
VO mentioned that I have prepared well and nothing needed from my end or Company.
He finally said admin processing will take couple of weeks and returned my passport and 797. Mentioned once admin processing is completed will let me know to provide passport for visa stamping.
Anyone in Toronto on 221G green? Really appreciate if you can touch base or share your experiences.
