I am Sorry for my late post busy with my work
second masters day1 CPT with SEVIS Expiry after H1b approval.
I got H1B approved with I797B with no I94 My attorney suggested me to go out of country to get new I94
I planed to travel canada so I choosen location calgary which is close to my location
book the slot in calgary went to embasy before 30 minutes finger prints done
Interview::
V.O : good morning
Me : good morning how are you with confidence and smile on my face
V.O :Good. can i have your i797 and passport
Me : gave docs
V.O : who is your employer
Me : answered
V.O : can you describe your project
Me : answered
V.O : you did 2 masters?
Me : yes I did 2 masters blah blah...
V.O :when will you finish your current masters
Me : answered
V.O :do you have client
Me : answered
V.O :location of client
Me : answered
V.O : your sevis is not active Im putting administrative process it may take time when you are planing to go back to usa
Me: as soon as i got approval on my visa but mostly planing by friday
V.O : don't think it will be done by friday(gave me white slip) he read my email is this correct email to reach you

Me: do you need any documents from my end
V.O: No you're good
friday got an email collect your passport at embasy. but my case still showing administrative process and email not describing approved or not
I just went to collect my passport they approved my visa and next day reached USA
stayed in Hi Hostel which is 1 km from embassy and there is library which is very nice spend lot of time in library the internet was very slow
and rooms are with bad smell if you're not hostler it will be very tough to stay there. but for me I took 1 week I just adjusted they will take 30USD per day. and couple of indian resturents you can try

go with some canadian dollars will be useful instead of using USD ..downtown train will be free you can use it.
