Hi All,
Atlanta filer here and here is my timeline.
PD 02/14/2018
EAD Approved 06/07/2018
Interview scheduled 01/07/2019
Interview Date 02/14/2019
Married in August 2014 ( first marriage for both/ i have not overstayed while on an immigration status)
The interview went well. Questions asked-
- When did you meet/ who proposed/ questions from the forms
- We had provided all documents upfront including joint taxes for 4 yrs/ car registration/ car insurance/ joint account/ joint cc/life insurance/health insurance/photos/home loan documents/home HUD1
- Medical was also submitted initially
At the end of the interview, I/O said we need to submit a new medical. I wanted to ask as to why the submitted medical will not work but did not. She said that we will be getting an RFE for a new medical and after 4-6 weeks of submission, the GC will be arrive in mail.
However, later in the evening the case status updated online for i485 to New Card being produced. We are confused as of now and not sure if this is a glitch or the I/O indeed decided to approve.
The online status changed on both the egov and DHS website. I guess we will have to wait for net week to see what is the true status.
Has anyone had a similar experience and can you share from prior experience if this is usual and if this is in-fact an approval or a glitch.
