Received approval notification for my EAD this week.
waited for 144 days from the initial filing date.

question? should I be filing for renewal as soon as I get it since they are taking ridiculous amount of time to process. I got lucky but I see people waiting 8 months etc. by the time they process the renewal the initial one would have expired?? I am exaggerating but this is the reality.
