My really sad USCIS DALLAS experience
I had my first AOS interview in Dec. Unfortunately, my lawyer was out of the country and locked all my documents in his office. During the interview, the immigration officer (IO) noted that the reference number on the copy of my birth certificate is different from the one on the original which my lawyer locked in his office. Unfortunately, he took exception to this and issued a notice that we returned with the birth certificate.

On Jan 1st, i was scheduled for another interview which i believed was just an opportunity for me to bring the original version of my birth cert. On getting to USCIS dallas, my wife and i were separated and interrogated for 2 hours. I eventually realized that i walked into a trap popularly known as 'Stokes"/ Fraud interview.

My wife and i were poorly prepared for the 2 hour interrogation and i am pretty certain we messed up on some of the questions. After the interview, the IO said we would hear back in 30 to 60 days.

I have been depressed and really sad. Its been over 30 days now and i still haven't heard anything.
I am confused, depressed and don't know what happens from here.

Any advise or experience is highly welcomed
