Boston Interview - Approved on Spot
Hi all,

PD: June 20th, 2018
Biometrics: July 19th, 2018
EAD: October 15th, 2018
Country of Citizenship: Canada
Country of Birth: Turkey

Just sharing my interview experience in Boston. Went smoothly, we weren't separated. I thought we were in trouble when my wife (USC) gave her PA driver's license (she hasn't switched it since we moved to Boston), but the guy laughed and asked me, 'You know what they say about Pennsylvania?', and when I replied: 'Philly, Pittsburgh, and Alabama in between', he laughed and it really set a good tone for the rest.

Very simple questions like address, where she works, mom's name, when did you last enter U.S. (I entered on AP and he took it out of my passport), etc. I-131 Y/N questions. The actual interview was probably like 6-7 minutes, and 15-20 minutes of the officer telling us horror stories of marriage fraud and the funniest cases he has come across. Then he spent five minutes giving advice on how to file the I-751 in 21 months time to make sure it goes smoothly with no interview.

10 minutes later, notification that New Card is being produced.

We submitted a lot of evidence with our application, and our attorney said that one look through the pictures/documents and it is obvious our marriage is bonafide. Based on how the interview went, I am certain the officer had a glance beforehand and went into the interview with no suspicions. Nothing to worry about if your intentions are genuine!
