Hi, I’m new here and I kinda need help clearing something out. I recently filled an application for my wife and we already received the receipts and the appointment for her biometrics however, on Saturday we got this letter requesting for initial evidence (I-485) which is pretty straight forward but the thing is my income was too low therefore we had a friend filled the affidavit of support for us . In the letter it states that” the petitioning sponsor lists their current income on form I-864 as an amount to be considered as sufficient however no evidence has been submitted as proof of current income “ so my wife is sure the letter means they need more evidence from our sponsor on the other hand the lawyer says they need more evidence from me we have 84days to submit them but with immigration stuff you have to be meticulous otherwise the application will be delayed so please can anyone clear this up
