Travel after Greencard interview (Atlanta Field Office)
Hi everyone,
Going through this forum has given my spouse and I immense strength during our GC processing.
We have our marriage-based AOS interview in the Atlanta field office next week, but have planned travel for an important religious ceremony in India one week after the interview.
If the interview is approved, but we don't have the GC in hand (or i551 stamp) when we leave, is it possible to have the GC mailed to India in case it arrives while we are still there and re-enter with it?
We cannot reschedule the trip, so any other suggestions on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if there are any recent Atlanta filers who have completed their interview, how long did it take for you to receive your greencard? What was your interview experience like?
