Police clearance letter from New York
If anyone , specially new Yorkers , can help shed some light for that it would be greatly appreciated . I used to live in New York , moved to Miami in 2007 . I received an RFE asking for material related to a misdemeanor incident I had in New York back in 2002 . I had originally obtained the " certificate of disposition " for that case as required . But now I am asked to produce a " Police Clearance letter " . I know that the Miami Police has such clearance letter , which I submitted with my application but to my knowledge there is no such letter available from New York city , or New York state . If anyone can help me shed some light on this that would be great . The Incident I had is the ONLY one I have ever had , it was old that al the records are " sealed automatically " as per the regulations in NYC. I served three days of community service for it , and that was it !
And like I said I did submit the certified copy of the " certificate of disposition " for it . Anyone ?
