F1 to H1b Change of Status Visa Stamping in Vancouver BC-03/01
Hi Forum,
I would like to thank for all the posts in this group by fellow members. It helped me to learn more about VISA Stamping process in Canada.
Today, I would like to share my experience of H1b visa interview held at Vancouver .Its my first time Stamping for H1b from F1 COS. The entire interview process was done with-in 45min as my slot is around 7:45AM so no rush during that time.
Visa Officer asked passport and i797A petition only from me and interviewed me for about 2 minutes and below are the questions I have from him
1. Who is your Employer?
2. Where is client located?
3. How many people are working in your team?
4.What technology you are working on?
5. Where did you finished your Masters?
I answered all his questions back 2 back so there comes the Golden Words APPROVED!! and handed over me a Green slip which explains "on approval of Visa how to collect your documents" and Know your rights page to me and told that I will receive the documents somewhere in middle of the next week and bid Good Luck with a smile.
Currently Case status shows "Administrative Processing". Hoping it gets updated by Monday/Tuesday.
