RFE for form i-130 after interview for form i-485. los angeles
Hi everyone,
I had my marriage based interview form i-485 on Jan 11, 2019, in Los Angeles. The interview went well and after the interview, the interviwer mentioned "my recommendation is approval" and we should receive a notice in the mail within 10 business days. I and my husband were happy to hear that. To our surprise,after 11 days we receive an RFE in regards to the form i-130 asking to show proof that our marriage is bonafide which we already took with us to the interview and the interviewer made copies for herself. However, we decided to send all the requested document we had and add more proofs. As anyone has the same issue like this and do you have any advice to give us. it is about to be 60 days after our interview and 30 days we have replied the RFE and still have not received any update. This entire process has taken almost a year and 3months, it is very stressful and depressing.
p.s the uscis site didn't update to RFE requested or received.
