Removing Conditions on 2 year Green Card
Hello All,
I have a friend that is currently ready to send information for removal of conditions attached to their green card. They have a question as to how the process works. Is there someone here who has done it already and had their conditions removed?
They are mostly wondering about the timeline. You can't send the paperwork until you are with in 90 days of your green card expiring but what happens if you don't get approved before the 90days? Do you get an extension? Do you have to quit working? When you look at the processing times it takes approximately 15 months? how does that affect people with the conditions?
Any information on your experience would be greatly appreciated and welcome.
