Hello,
I had my H1B visa appointment on 03/04 8.30am at the Ottawa consulate.
I would recommend everyone to carry 10 CAD cash, just in case your photo is rejected there is a photo booth inside the Ottawa consulate.
The document collection, fingerprinting and the interview took about 2 hours.
Questions asked:
1) Where do you work?
2) Whats your job title?
3) Highest degree of education?
4) In what field?
5) Describe your day to day job duties?
6) Salary per annum
6) Countries have you visited in last 5 years?
7) Are you married?
8) How many kids?
9) Have you read the rights brochure?
10) Can you describe the rights?
"Your visa is approved. Your passport will be ready in 2-4 days."
Status changed from 'AP' to 'Issued' on 03/05 morning
Received email about the passport tracking within an hour.
Passport was ready for pickup 03/06 morning.
