Confused!
I’ve been married less than two years but I received my green card valid for 10 years. I have spoken to my lawyer and he said it’s fine. I called Uscis to verify that the information in their system matches what’s on the card and to also ask if it could of been a mistake. I was told that it’s not mandatory to receive a conditional card if I’ve been married less than two years but it’s at the immigration officer discretion to issue how long you get the card. Also stated that my relationship probably seem so legit that there’s no need to go through the conditional stage. What do you guys think?
