10 year green card in hand
I was mainly a silent reader here for a while and this site was immense in helping file and plan my case. I didn’t use a lawyer so all my strategy and knowledge came from here . Now that my journey is over giving back by sharing my experience.

Been married to a USC for 9+ years and we have 2 kids together both USCs .

We couldn’t find a sitter and someone suggested it could be good to go with the kids anyways so went with my wife and 2 kids for my interview (kids are 5 and 1 year old) . Interview was at the providence office. We got there about an hour early but walked in about 20 mins early. We got called in at 1pm (the exact time for my interview) . We all went in together (my wife , kids and I) . The IO was very nice . After swearing us in he asked for my wife and i’s passports . Then some hilarious banter with my 5 year old daughter who insisted he must also take her passport (she travelled back home with us to my home country after she was born so she has a US passport.) . He took it just to satisfy her. He took my biometrics (photo and index finger ) . A few questions about my wife’s work, then the yes and no questions for me from the AOS form, then asked for photos . We gave him a ton from our wedding and kids birthdays and baptisms plus a few other family functions. He asked about my wife’s family in New York and why we chose to settle In MA. Then he said he would approve our application and since we had been married for that long there would be no need for a conditional card. We thanked him and left. Spent about 20 mins in total for the interview.

Very grateful to everyone here for the advice and knowledge share. My complete timeline is below
