Green Card Arrived!
Hi,

Today I received my GC!

Our process started back in August 2017.

My husband and I have been together for more than 4 years but married only since June 2017.

In Feb 2019 we had our interview at the Irving, TX office.

Interview went very well... We were scheduled at 8:30 am but we arrived 45 mins before the interview time.

We checked in, went upstairs and sat there for about 30 mins before the IO called my name.

We all three went inside and we didn’t get separated. IO was super nice and professional offering us to sit down and she explained how the interview was going to be.

Took my picture (she said “smile” and also took my fingerprints)...

She asked us to stand up and do the oath and then she started asking my husband some questions about the I-130 which was basically re reading the information we filled out.

My husband was married before for a long time and she asked some questions about it. The IO started explaining to me what was the next step about I-485 and she doing the same with me: asked some questions about the form and almost all the yes/no questions.

After that she asked how we met, when we saw each other for the first time, my husbands DOB, COB, our adeeess and same question she asked him: what do I like the most about him and what he likes the most about me.

She also asked our Marriage Date and where was the wedding held which was funny because we got married at the CourtHouse then at church with our pastor in a private ceremony.

After everything she asked and we answered she talked to my husband (retired vet) about airplanes he flew with the air force while she was typing a whole bunch of stuff in the computer and note previous she did lots of notes in a notepad.

She asked if we have more evidence to prove our bonna fife marriage and I had like a super fat binder with more evidence and she said “I DONT NEED ALL THAT, just a few and if you have recent picture that will be great”...

She said everything should be Ok but I need to get your other case (Asylum I filled in 2014) with this one together in order to make a decision but no worries in 60 days you’ll hear from us.

In March 7th I got an email and text saying my card was in production and today I picked up from the mailbox

I am beyond blessed to have my beautiful husband and his love.

We are so ready to go abroad and celebrate our honey moon like we deserve it

Hang in there because God is great!
