My I-485 Timeline in NYC
Hi everyone,
I am back to share my experience with my I-485 interview which took place on 3/13. It has been a surprisingly smooth and fast process for me since I submitted all my application on 7/27/18. I am married to USC.
I got my combo card in early January this year and then received my interview notice on 2/7. My interview was scheduled for 7:45 am in nyc and it went pretty well as the immigration officer was very friendly. Me and my husband went in with our lawyer. The officer mainly asked my husband some general questions about our relationship while quickly reviewing our supplementary docs.
I believe we were in and out of that building in 40 mins. And after 2-3 hours of my interview, my case status changed to "new card is being produced".
It has been a very blessing experience for me. Best luck to you all!
