Here’s my timeline:
Pd: July 17th 2017 (Brooklyn filler)
EAD: Oct 2017 sent papers to renew EAD July 2018 (didn’t hear anything till now lol)
Interview notice: 01.25.2019
Interview: 03.06.2019
Card being produced: 03.09.2019
10years GC in hand: 03.15.2019
Interview went very well, officer was very nice and polite, we are interracial gay couple. She asked ordinary questions like how me met, what my date of birth, did we met each other parents, does my husband has siblings, who propose and what we did for our wedding day. Then she went through yes or no question from i485. She took our bills, leases, tax return, bank statements, updated papers from our sponsor, my updated medical examination and gave us a paper that says case under review. Then I asked her about my EAD, it’s going to be expired in April (I applied for renewal in July 2018) but she said I should hear back about my case by then.
Few things to mention about my case:
* We moved three times while case was pending
* I got to US as a tourist in 2015 and haven’t pay taxes before 2018.
* I visited Florida in 2013 and was arrested for shoplifting. I spent 23 days in a jail. They gave me felony but charges never been posted so my case was closed as ‘no action’ (no information).
