I wanted to share my journey so far, and see if there is anyone else who filed concurrently I-485 and I-130 from San Francisco who had better luck with the waiting time and already got the interview scheduled. I am adjusting status as the wife of a US citizen.
My timeline:
05 Dec 2017 received date/priority date for both I-485 and I-130
11 Dec 2017 notice date on the I-797
Status of the I-485: ready to be scheduled for an interview since 15 Mar 2018, so it's been 15 months now and nothing happened yet. Average processing times in San Francisco for I-485 now seem to be 18-22 months (better than in Dec 2018, when it was showing up to 31.5 months!).
Status of the I-130: received since Dec 2017, nothing happened since the initial notice. Average processing times at California Service Center are 20-26 months.
Any experiences from other CA applicants would be gratefully received, thanks!
