F1 visa interview at Ottawa
My wife attended the F1 visa interview today at Ottawa consulate. Not many F1 visa experiences in Canada and thought will share here. The COS is showing an estimate of 13 months which we didn't want to wait, so testing our luck in Canada. She is currently on H4 and looking to move to F1.
Interview Questions:
1) Why F1.
2) 2-3 questions regarding financial support, she specifically asked for bank statements and enquired my job and salary details.
3) Question related to family ties back in India.
4) About the university and why this course.
It was not short and quite a lot of questions. In the end she kept the password and said you will receive further instructions in the email,
She didn't utter the word 'Approved', so fingers crossed right now. Hopefully i see the status change from Admin processing to Issued. I can help with any questions.
