Hi everyone. I need help filling joint tax. So my husband's mom wants to claim him as her dependence as she has been doing this for years. She also listed me as her daughter in law last year. She's low income. My husband and I are full-time students having part-time job.
Is there anyway that she can still list my husband as her dependence but he and I can also fill another jointly taxes even if he getta pay taxes twice for that?
