Adjustment of Status - I-485

Please reply me if you have accurate information regarding to my question.. please.

I called USCIS before using my ead card based on opt and after filing my greencard application based marriage to ask if I can use my current ead card (OPT) until it expires and before receiving EAD from i-765. The representative answered yes for my question. So, I've been working with my current ead card.

Today, I called uscis for checking my status and me and representative had a conversation for expedite request for i-765. while i was explaining my situation, " I am using my current ead card based on opt while waiting green card and combo card. That card expires this July so I want to have a combo card before expiring my current ead card. And the representative said, you opt card would be not valid once you applied green card & combo card. That shocked me and I am kind of panic right now. once I heard it on the phone, i just said okay good to know and i will call you back, then i hung up the phone.

Sorry for this long unorganized story. Please advice me if you know anything about it. I tried to call back them to clarify if i heard accurate information but the customer service was already closed although it's not 8 pm eastern time yet. I gotta go right now. Hopefully i see you guys replies when I get back here.
