Hello all,
I have been a long time lurker. Here is my timeline for EAD. My field office is Tampa and NBC
PD: October 3, 2018
Biometrics completed: Nov 30, 2018
Case stuck on case received since then
Submitted an expedite based on a job offer with a non-profit organization on March 11, 2019
E-mail from USCIS requesting supporting documents: March 14, 2019
Documents Faxed: March 15, 2019
New Card being produced: March 27, 2019
No update on the travel document
Timeline for i485 through Tampa
Feb 14: Case ready to be scheduled for interview
Feb 19: Interview scheduled
Feb 25: Receive interview notice
March 28: Interview date
My interview is scheduled for tomorrow. I am hoping it goes good.
My lawyer didn't recommend that I submit an expedite request for EAD but I am in healthcare and maybe the IO reviewing my case saw that my profession was noble and I would be doing important work through the non-profit
I don't know what worked. But I am glad that something did. The fact that my travel card didn't update makes me feel like it was the expedite that work.
