This forum helped me estimate and understand how long OCI Minor at NY Center takes and I wanted to share my experience here.
The application was processed in total 21 days (One day is consulate holiday) for the process. This is an automate jobs that runs on every day except holiday. For the holidays list you can visit Consulate website.
The most important thing I wanted to share, I see people wondering about the status on Govt. of India website and wanted to tell you guys, you can still get the status from NY consulate by posting your query to the consulate with Pramit Helpline and the link is below.

This facility is exclusive for NY center only and you will get 100% response from consulate and I followed up my status with the above link.

Mar 4 - Application mailed to CKGS NYC Center.
Mar 5 - UPS Carrier delivered the package to CKGS Center.
Mar 6 - 09:26 am - Application ‘Received’ by CKGS and 'Not Verified'.
Mar 6 - 09:46 am - Application Verification is ‘Complete’. Processing of your application will continue.
Mar 6 - 12:28 pm - Application is ‘Under Process’ at CKGS.
Mar 6 - 04:08 pm - Application is 'In Transit' to the Consulate.
Mar 7 - 10:13 am - Application is 'Under Process' at Consulate for decision making.
Mar 7 - 10:17 am - Passport 'Reviewed' by Consulate and is ‘In Transit’ to CKGS Application Centre.
Mar 7 - 10:59 am - Original Passport ‘Received’ at the CKGS application centre and is at the ‘Sorting Facility’ where it is being processed for delivery.
Mar 7 - 01:06 pm - Passport picked up by carrier. Your AWB Number is YYYY YYYY YYYY ZZZ
Mar 8 - 12.30 pm - Passport delivered at home.
I checked the status on Govt. of India website by 8.30PM for the status.
File Acknowledgment Number YYYY YYYY YYYY XX
Date Of Acknowledgment 08-MAR-2019
Registration Status at Mission NEW YORK CGI
Documents Printing Status PROCESSED On 29-MAR-2019
Awaiting the OCI card to delivered to CKGS from there to me. Will update as I get the OCI Card in hand.
