Hello everyone,
I am writing on behalf of my friend. His mother was a green card holder who got deported a couple of months ago due to providing false documents (fraud). Thus, my friend obtained her green card through her mother 5 years ago and she is in the process of applying for citizenship. Therefore, she was wondering if her mother's deportation would affect her case knowing that she got her green card through her mother. Thank you very much. She also contacted an attorney who told her that she may not lose her privilege since she hasn't done anything wrong but she is so freak out right now and need all of your help possible.
