03-26-18 Interview day

Our interview was in the morning at the Las Vegas Office. The IO seemed nice, very cool asked yes or no questions. She only asked me, no questions pertaining to my husband or our relationship. Just the questions on the application form. After the interview, she told me that I there are 4 discrepancies on my answer to the answers when I filled out the application form. She said that this will not affect the final verdict of our application.

1. Regarding my I-94, I was not aware that I should have exited the US after I submitted my application. So my receipt date in 02-22-18. I originally sent my application 01-30-18 they got it 02-05-18, they sent it back to me on 02-15-18 because my payment is wrong. My I-94 expired 02-06-18, I should have exited and got a new one. I was not aware that I can exit during that time.

2. I applied for a residence status in Canada, which I did not pushed through anymore because I got married and we chose to live here in the US.

Honestly, I can’t remember the other 2 discrepancies. When she was asking me about the dates of my entries in the US, I really cannot remember the exact dates because she was holding my passport and I did not have a copy of the dates. I lived in Toronto for 3 years, we used to cross the border for the weekend. I was not really sure.

Towards the end, I gave her copies of our joint bank account, latest copies of our tax info, more pictures and my current employment details.

The bottom line of this story is, she said that our case will still be under REVIEW. Before we left, she made copies of my passport and I-94. We are still waiting.

I am praying that everything will turn out well, this experience is giving my anxiety. I am always thinking of what I could have done better or what I did wrong. I just answered with full honesty and if there are discrepancies, I was not aware of all those. I have no intention of violating any of the laws here.
