Baltimore Office - Green Card in Hand
Hi all. I've been a silent reader on this forum for a bit - getting hope and faith from reading all of your posts. I thought I would share my experience in case it might be helpful to others. I'm a US citizen and my husband came as a B1/B2 visa holder.

Timeline:
PD: 8/25/2018 (Chicago lockbox) - filed i130, i485, and i864
Biometrics: 10/8/2018 (for i130 + i485)
PD: 10/16 (Chicago lockbox) - filed i765
Biometrics: 10/26/2018 (for i765)
11/19/2018 - Case Ready to be scheduled for an interview
1/22/2019 - Interview was scheduled
1/26/2019 - Received interview notice in mail - interview scheduled for 2/26 - 10:30 a.m. (Baltimore)
2/26/2019 - Interview Day
We arrived at the field office around 9:45, but didn't go in until 10:00. We had prepared a binder with the following items:
-all receipts and notices from USCIS
-birth certificates
-passports + copies of all
-completed medical form
-event tickets/hotels/car rentals
-health insurance cards
-Costco membership
-i864 documents - updated offer letter, pay stubs, etc for my new job
-photo album
We were called back about 10:45. Our officer was a young-ish woman. We were sworn in and the interview began. She asked my husband what my name was, where i grew up, how old I was, my birthday, where I worked (which he got wrong, because we applied when I was at one job and he gave my current job - I interrupted and corrected on the spot), and if I had any children (I don't).
She did the same for me and asked me all of those questions. She also asked us where we got married and how was the ceremony. She then asked him all of the yes/no questions.
She didn't ask me for any documents - no updated financial documents or anything. She asked if I had a joint bank account and we don't because he doesn't have a EAD/SSN and can't work nor contribute to the bank account so I told her there was no need.
She took some of our pictures - a wedding pic and a picture we took on a domestic road trip together.
After that, she commented that we still hadn't gotten our EAD and then told us that we would probably get that before we got the green card as there is a 120 day period. She then gave us the white paper that indicated that nothing additional was needed. We left feeling anxious, but okay.
After that, we were patiently waiting to see if we got any RFE's and nothing was happening. There was only one update to our account - interview completed and case needs to be reviewed. I began to feel anxious as I saw Baltimore is notoriously slow.
2/26/2019 - Interview completed and case must be reviewed
3/22/2019 - egov site said "Card is being produced" - YES! - no update on myaccount.uscis
3/28/2019 - receiving approval notices for i130 and i485 (we have informed delivery)
3/28/2019 - "Card has been mailed" and informed delivery says it will arrive on 3/30
3/30/2019 – Conditional Green Card in hand!!
Our journey is almost over until we have to remove conditions in 2 years. We have prayed and been diligent in hoping for the best. This process took exactly 7 months.

We filed everything on our own - no attorney - and submitted everything. We made numerous copies at FedEx and made sure we had the appropriate documents. Just make sure you have all of your documents. Happy to answer any questions!
