Baltimore, MD transferred to Washington, DC
Hello everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. I started the process more than a year ago. Everything was going well. I had my interview on January 22, and I passed the tests. The officer handed me a "recommendation for approval" letter and told me that I should expect the oath ceremony to be scheduled within 2 to 6 weeks from the interview.

This is my case history so far:
02/12/2018 - We received your application
02/17/2018 – We scheduled your biometrics appointment
03/05/2018 – We reviewed your biometrics
12/17/2018 – We scheduled your interview

** 01/22/2019 – Interview took place – Passed, recommended for approval letter given to me.

No further updates have been made since “we scheduled your interview”. Here are some specifics of my case. When I submitted the application, I was “on a break” with my girlfriend. We stuff were still at our apartment, but we weren’t actually living together, nor we were separated. Anyway, I was living with some family members. That was the last address I reported on my application since I did not know what was going to happen with my girlfriend. Eventually, I moved back with her but by that time, 8 months have passed, I went to the Baltimore office for the biometrics appointment, etc.
I was scheduled to attend to Baltimore for the interview. I tried to change my address but the system is not the best, and even though I submitted an address change ticket, nothing happened.
I went to Baltimore for the interview; everything went well, passed the tests. The officer told me that since I am living in DC now, he didn’t have jurisdiction to complete the process and he was going to have to transfer my case to DC, but that shouldn’t take too long. He said 2 to 6 weeks as I previously mentioned.
Anyway, that was on January 22, nothing has happened since then, except that my online profile no longer has an “estimated completion time” anymore. From time to time I am still receiving status updates on my phone and email, well, that stopped 2 or 3 weeks ago. Right now, there is complete radio silence.
I wanted to check if anyone had a similar experience, and what was the outcome.

Thanks in advance for your time!
