6 months from interview and no update
hello
i have submitted myI-845 based on EB2 in February 2018( Nebraska office ) . my I 140 APPROVED in july 2018 , interview in queens field office in October 2018 ,. interview went fine , officer told me they well send me green card but they may need letter of evidence of my new employer . 6 months passed now no update on my case , sent inquiry to USCIS . they replied they actively process and needs longer for review the case , on line the only update (case transferred to another office which old update of last july before the interview ) . is this delay is normal ? i am realy worried , my EAD will expire next month I applied for renewal 4 months ago similarly no update for EAD ? my lawyer told that notice of EAD notice automatically give me 6 months extension for expired EAD is this true or not ? please need your advise
