Oakland Park, FL - Case under review, Please wait 120 days!! Any similar experiences?
Hello Guys
Has anyone in Oakland Park being handled a letter for under review for 120 after interview was done? What's your experience?
I filed through marriage, our PD is April 2017. We filed for I-130 and I-485 concurrently. Our interview was scheduled on December 20th and Interview was done January 28th.
The interview lasted about 30 minutes and went pretty straight forward, the IO was very polite and calm. She asked us very basic questions, took our evidence, looked at a single photo from out album and handed the album back to us. At the end she said she could not make a decision on spot and that her supervisor had to look at it before decision was made. She then handed a paper to us saying at this time we don't need anything from us and to wait 120 days for a decision letter. Online status has no changes, I-130 says case received and I-485 says Interview was Scheduled, even though it was already done!! Never received an RFE since the interview.
Its been over 2 month and last week, I went ahead and called them. I did a service request on our I-130 and for the I-485 since our case is still under normal processing time for about another month and a half or so, nothing was done. Still have not heard back on Case Inquiry for I-130
Did anyone went through a similar case? Please share your experience. This wait is crazy, we have so many plans my wife and I and we feel like we are on pause!! This month will be 2 years since we filed.
