I applied On March 2018 and I just had my interview on Wednesday 4/3. That’s after I moved from San Fernando valley to Long Beach. The officer called me and my spouse and I went Up. The interview lasted about 10 minutes and I was so nervous because there were two officers there. Not sure if my officer was training or if it was cause we are a same sex couple. They asked asked if there was anything we wanted them to see to which I said yes. I handed most of my EAD cards (I have been on TPS since 2001 so I lost some and one got stolen), I told them I had most. They didn’t say anything to that just that they did expect a lot of EADs since I’ve been here so long (I had A lot). Then I gave my new medical examination and the originals of the birth certificates and i94 (the one I got when I first came here and was check at the airport by an officer). They looked at all the proof of marriage. So photos and letters. I’ve been married for 5 years and with her since I was 16 so we had old pictures and letters. They asked my wife for my name and her birthday. My parents name, to which my wife responded but my dad has a very long name and she called him by his nickname to which I reminded her they need his real name. They asked only a few yes or no questions. Then they told us that we were under review and needed to take copies so to wait outside. When she called me back it was only the officer conducting the interview (not the one that sat in and asked a few questions) she told me she would approve me now but that I had Been here so long she just need to put everything together and go over it. My online status updates to “interview done needs to be reviewed”. Anyone else had same experience? How long did it take? Also, has anyone had two officers? I’m not worried because my marriage is real and I I didn't hide anything. I’m just wondering what they need to check.
