social security card after green card.
I'm worried and confused. approved for green card in February 26. got my card about a week later and 2 weeks later went to the social security office to update my status to green card permanent resident. to remove "valid with DHS authorization". I did not receive my updated card. I went back to the SSA office to find out what happened because I had 2 other experiences getting my ss card from them, one with DACA and name change with AOS. my cards usually came within a week, but not this time. I went back in with the office and they said when she looked it up the card was never sent and the only thing the lady saw in the system was "it said investigate" when she typed in my info. the lady didn't know why that was coming up, so she checked my info for duplicate SS number and verified my status on her computer with DHS after I showed her my green card. she said she cleared the problem and I should be getting my card 7-10 business days. Confused now because I don't know what cause the problem because I have went to SSA office twice before and never had a problem verifying my info or getting my cards before this. Noe I'm stuck waiting, if anyone has a similar experience please tell me, how it all worked out. TIA
