Typing mistake in DS156
I typed a wrong "Date Of Issue" of my passport in form DS156. Now I went to the VFS office and told them that I cannot edit that field on their website and asked them what should be done to change the Date in my form. The lady there told me that I cannot change the first 14 fields and I had 2 options.
1. I can cancel this appointment and take a new one with correct details. OR
2. I can explain my case to the VO at the time of my interview.
Taking an appointment again is not possible for me as I have an apt of March 6 and now if I take an appointment it will be somewhere in July. I have decided to go for the interview and explain my case to VO.
Has anyone faced a similar situation ? If yes, please get back to me. I am really confused. Also let me know what answer I should give the VO if asked about the mistake.
