Need Passport for N400 Biometrics Appt?
Hello everyone,

I am wondering if using passport as the form of ID for the biometrics appointment is a must. Here is my timeline so far:

Office: SF Bay Area (San Jose)
Application filed: 3/20
Biometrics appt scheduled: 4/15

For a business travel, I applied for UK visa today and gave my passport away for the visa application. It is likely that I won’t receive my passport back before the 4/15 biometrics appointment. The USCIS website says a form of ID (driver license, passport etc) is needed along with the Green card. I am wondering - even though it’s not mentioned as a must have for the appointment - if we are expected to present our passport during this appointment.

Thank you and good luck to us all!
