OPT denied while outside US
I had to travel out of the US after graduation during my grace period (medical emergency) whilst my OPT application was under processing but the same day during the flight my application was denied due to the 30 days rule. My DSO says my SEVIS is active and I am within 60 days of my grace period so with the help of friends I can reapply for OPT. Is my F1 still valid if I apply for OPT?? Any advice/help on this is appreciated!
