H1B stamping in Vancouver BC
As many echoed before me, this forum has been really helpful in preparing and also foreseeing any challenges that might arise. It really helped me prepare mentally and also in terms of travel plans.

Here is the summary of my experience:
Interview date: April 11th 2019, 9:45 AM Vancouver

1. Wife and I arrived at around 9:25
2. We were let inside after all 9:30 folks were in
3. Security process and document check was a breeze. They mainly ask for your passports, DS160, I797A and photos at this point
4. The interview: Duration less than 5 minutes
    a. Where do you work?
    b. How much do you make (salary)?
    c. What do you do for your company? Had to explain in lay man terms since mine was very technical
    d. To my wife - Do you have any relatives? (she had), Where are your parents?
    e. Your visa is approved. Expect it in 3 - 5 days
5. When we came back to hotel it was showing Administrative Processing

12th April 2019: 2 PM: Status changed to issued
5 PM: received email from Canada post

I am yet to pick up the passport. It says it will be ready on 15th. I am ok with this as we had planned a bit of vacation here in Vancouver.
