Hello All,
We had our interview last Tuesday on 4/10 in Newark and have still not heard back. Got the white paper saying that additional review needs to be completed and it can take 120 days. the IO did not really give us any more info and just said something along the lines of "it wont take that long" and that he needs to review it. Can anyone preferably in the newark office who has married a US citizen share how long the approval took post interview? (other offices are fine too).
Additionally, due to some confusion, I have a tax lien/judgement filed against me a week before the interview. This was all a misunderstanding and I was not even aware of this until now and have immediately sorted the matter. Is this an issue ? As per my lawyer, this only affects credit. Please let me know, thanks.
