L2 EAD renewal expereince
My L2 EAD (eligibility a-18) expired March 24 2019
Submitted EAD renewal (this is the 2nd renewal- last time back in October 2018 it took me 60 days)
02/14/2019 i-765 received (was submitted late as L1 documentations were not ready beforehand)
03/28 raised SR applied via local congressman for case expedition on the basis of financial loss (lose my job)
04/01- Expedition request was not approved as does not meet their expedite criteria.
04/15 status not changed
i am employed since Jan 2017 and my employer has put me on leave for now, however if i don't get my EAD soon i will most probably lose my job :-(
My questions to this forum:
1. Does anyone know if there is any impact on processing time if SR for expedition request was declined ?
2. what are current processing time for L2 EAD renewals for CA service center? is it same processing time for renewals vs. first time EAD?
