I have been checking my case status online for more than 5 months and the I-765 has been always as “case received”. Yesterday it changed to “case is ready to be scheduled for an interview” and in place of the employment authorization application it said adjustment of status (which was supposed to be another receipt number). One hour later I checked again and it went back to “case received” for employment authorization. So since yesterday I have been checking it and it goes back and forth between “case received” and “ready to schedule interview”. That is so weird!
Just wondering if any of you have had the same problem. Also, I should mention that my lawyer filled a expedite request 3 weeks ago. So just wondering when this problem is gonna be solved. I’m out of work for a month already waiting to the EAD.
