Adjustment of Status - I-485

Posting for other Manhattan filers to have a sense of our timeline; approximately 22 months start to finish. We had a brief period when I was unable to work due to the automatic extension to my work authorization expiring. We contacted our congressman and filed a request to expedite in March 2019, which may have made the difference in getting the EAD renewal approved.

March 12, 2019 - I-485/I-130 "Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed" notification
March 28, 2019 - EAD renewal approved
March 30, 2019 - Automatic extension for Work Authorization renewal expired
April 4, 2019 - EAD card received
April 10 - I-485 "New card is being produced" notification
April 16 - Green card received
